DJ Institute is a division of IGA, Institute of Gaming & Animation and is registered under the Societies Act, XXVI of 1961, Govt. of West Bengal having registration no S/IL/10093 This Society is formed as an irrevocable Non-Profit Organisation.

The Society is approved by the University of Kalyani, the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education and the UGC. The Governing body of the Institute includes luminaries from the field of education, social work, media and corporate sectors to make a cogent body in the field of education.
